Ibni Haldun University Campus
We were invited to a competition to design a campus for a new university the will be focusing on social sciences. The project area is at the outskirts of the city of Istanbul. The topography of the land has a sloppy character. The area is connecting the city from the eastern side and surrounded by the fast vehicular roads all around.
We focused on creating a lively and green campus environment primarily instead of the buildings itself. We tried to create walkable pedestrian circulation, green landscape and a healthy campus life.
Architecture language aims to interpret the historical roots of Turkish architecture in a modernist approach which was demanded within the scope of competition brief.
